Over 2/3 of the workforce will receive new systems and the other 1/3 will have an in place upgrade utilizing USMT 4 Hard link. Due to the extensive amount of 16 and 32 bit applications which will not either function or not be supported on Windows 7, MED-V v2 is implemented to resolve this issue. This is considered a complicated deployment since the company has over 40 core applications required for the company run.

- Implement SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Sp2 R3) to replace existing OS deployment product in the middle of a Windows XP to Windows 7 Migration Project. This project utilized a majority of the features from SCCM to the fullest extent including OOB (Out of Band Management) utilizing vPro technology with the latest releases of Dell hardware. BitLocker was included into this project to secure HR, Accounting and Executives laptops. The span of the SCCM environment included 1 primary site, 1 secondary site and two distribution points with managing over 500 users. Third party products like EminentWare was also integrated with assisting to deploy 3 party updates through SCCM’s Software Update feature.

- Project consisted of migrating as many of the 120 applications from an old software deployment tool to System Center Configuration Manager 2007. Analyze SCCM Security and the workflow process from the end user submitting a request through the deployment of the application. The project team involved SCCM admin’s from U.S., Europe, Japan, Australia, Norway, Russia and Brazil. I was able to migrate over 80+ applications which some had multiple languages. I utilized batch file scripting, VB Scripting and Flexera AdminStudio.
